Batesville Elementary, Mammoth Spring, and Melbourne Elementary had a full-day of professional learning. School leaders visited their Needs Assessment and devised a plan for High Quality Professional Learning. School leaders engaged in professional development sessions rooted in giving targeted and curriculum aligned feedback, and unit and lesson internalization protocols. This professional learning was led by Jenny Ecklund with TNTP.

February is Career & Technical Education or CTE Month! The goal is to raise awareness of the role that CTE has in readying learners for college and career success.

NAESC had the pleasure of hosting junior high students in our annual quiz bowl. All of the students competed well and demonstrated stellar sportsmanship. Our winners are as follows: 1st place- ICC 2nd place- Cave City 3rd place- Mtn View 4th place- Batesville

Before Christmas break, we had an amazing day helping area students prepare for their future careers by providing mock interviews so that they could practice the skills they have learned in the classroom. Students were also able to hear the presentation "How to Get Fired" from Baxter Health HR Representatives Miranda Bradley and Kim Beavers. Thank you to FNBC, Ozarka College and Representative Steven Walker for taking the time to help us with this! The students did a great job!!

CTE Collaborative Team continuing to focus on best practices for ICC students.


Midland and Mt. View School Districts' administrators and teachers worked tirelessly with their coaches on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Great conversations and actions to positively affect their students' learning!



Tuesday was a great day of learning for a couple of Northcentral school districts. Midland and Batesville Guiding Coalition teams spent the day with other schools in the state working with Janel Keating.



Arkansas Cooperative Technology Coordinators (ACTC) partnered with DIS and presented multiple sessions at the annual Arkansas Conference of Technology (ACOT). In partnership with CIRT, DESE, DIS, and Forge Institute, the ACTCs organized the Cybersecurity Bootcamp, featuring a full day dedicated to Cyber Prevention and Recovery. Additionally, throughout the event, the ACTCs presented multiple sessions focusing on data responsibility and cybersecurity awareness, equipping districts with valuable resources to maintain the security of their networks.







APSRC Fall Conference 2023 was wonderful! Keynotes, both successful educators in Mississippi, focused on how they improved learning for all students. Great opportunities for networking!

Batesville School District had two full days of learning PLC Processes with Solution Tree Associate Dan Cohan. As always, Northcentral loves supporting our school districts.

Continuing our efforts to provide quality support for novice teachers.


Coaching for our Singletons! Jon Yost, Solution Tree Associate spent the day at NAESC coaching teachers from several northcentral school districts. We learned how to implement collaborative processes no matter how many classes we have!




Onsite coaching at ICC last week with Luke Francois, a Solution Tree Associate. Collaborative Teams are looking at current and past data to make informed decisions on what is best for our students.




NAESC staff is learning the power in coaching collaborative teams at the Amplify Your Impact conference with Michael Maffoni.
